The River Terrace at Shaw Center for the Arts features a versatile layout for up to 400 guests at a cocktail-style event or 300 guests for a seated dinner. The smaller indoor room is ideal for buffet-style catering and cakes. Meanwhile, the larger outdoor terrace accommodates the bar service, seating, and live music. Additionally, we provide white tents to ensure your event proceeds smoothly, even in bad weather.

Getting Started with Your Booking
First, complete our online application to check date availability. If your desired date is open, we’ll place a complimentary one-week hold. This hold allows you time to tour The River Terrace and start the paperwork without losing the date. However, if the date is unavailable, our SCA staff will contact you to discuss other available dates.

Next, schedule a tour of The River Terrace. This visit lets you see the venue’s unique features and stunning views firsthand. Securing Your Date
If you decide that The River Terrace at Shaw Center is the perfect venue, securing your date involves an $800 non-refundable deposit and a signed contract. This step confirms your reservation and allows us to begin planning your event.
